College Girl Inc.: What to Choose? MacBook Pro or MacBook Air

I'm so excited to finally get a new laptop and not just any laptop but a MacBook. I've always wanted a Mac laptop but my parents wouldn't spend $1000 for a laptop, that have more important things that they need, which I don't blame them. I brought my first two laptop on my own and I'm happy to finally get a new laptop. My older laptop, which is a HP Privillion, is a good laptop but it's been slowing like crazy and giving me problems, so I finally made the executive decision to buy myself a brand new laptop and I'm happy to be getting a new one.
The only problem is I cannot choose between the MacBook Pro or MacBook Air they are both cute and usable. So I'm coming to you all, my readers, if you have either a MacBook Pro or Air which one is the better choice, I have I eyes set on one Macbook and I won't share which one until I get my laptop next week, when you finally see which one I pick.
I want to hear your views about these two, if you own either of them. Trust me, your honest opinion will really help me for when I choose my laptop.

I can't wait to read your views on the MacBook Pro and Air.

Happy Fall,

College Girl Inc.: How To Be Stress Free During Midterm Season

Midterms! What can I really say about them other than it is stressful part of college life and we all go through it. Right now, I have one Midterm to finish and I'm not ready for it but I know I will do do well. I'm always stressed out when it comes to Midterms and I know I'm not the only one either. But do not fret, because I have some ways to make your Midterm season, a very smooth sailing season.

1. Most of people don't do this but it is very helpful, listen to music. Either music you like but not the type of music that distract you. Me, for example, I love to listen to Soca and Reggae music because it works for me and it gets me pumped up to study.

2. Study Buddies are very useful and reliable to use...utilize it to the best of your abilities. Working in groups makes the workload less stress because you are around people who have one goal, to pass. You make sure your cool with people in your class, get their contact information and set up a Study Buddy date just to study.

3. DO NOT STUDY ON YOUR BED!!!! The worst thing to do is study on your bed because you will not get anything to done because you WILL fall asleep. Trust me, I've been through this plenty of times when I start to study or even when I do homework. Find a place that is comfortable, like a desk, a dinner table or you can even study in school (In a quiet area because loud areas are not the best!) It will avoid you sleeping on yourself.

4. EAT A SNACK OR FOOD!! You cannot study on an empty stomach. I've tried it before and NO it does not work at all. You have to be functionally and functioning without any food in your stomach is the worst thing to do. Make sure you have a decent snack or reasonable food to eat in your system. Food is like our gas and our body is our car, when a car runs out of gas it means it's time to fill up. So EAT!!

5. Always make sure to talk to your professor when it comes down to your midterm. To make sure you are studying the right things because you don't want to be that person when you study and it was completely wrong. The professor is there to help you and to refresh what's on your study guide.

6. Remember GET A GOOD NIGHT'S REST. You want you eight hours or more so you can be completely refresh when it come to your Midterms. You don't want to come to your exam looking like death, run over...it's not a great look. You want to be refresh and ready to kick this Midterm in the butt.

7. BE CONFIDENT. You got this! Smoothing words also work so that the workload doesn't stress you out. Be confident, you own this Midterm, not the other way around.

I hope this helps you out, even though most of you guys finished with Midterms, us in NYC are now in Midterm season!! There's always next semester, you know that you will be prepared and confident in your exams.

How do you stay stress free during exams?

Spirit Football Jersey...How Can I Compare Thee??

(c)sororitydrunk.blogspot.com

When I'm in love with a particular article of clothing, I will let it be known from the rooftop, This is one of them. I been in L-O-V-E with the Spirit Football Jersey, since I saw one of my favorite YouTube Guru (Sarahbelle93x) showing one in her hauls. So let me give you a little mini history about the Spirit Football Jersey: Made in the USA becoming very popular with sororities, fraternities, colleges and sports teams. With its comfortable, the features the unmistakable bold back print in our famous puff font and unique drop-shoulder design.
I want to get Spirit Football Jersey but the only thing I don't like about it, is that you have to buy them in bulks, you should be able to get them individual without having to get them in bulks. There are different places that you can go, that sells them individually. So have been looking for other websites to get them individually. This is the ultimate jersey, very comfortable, big and soft.
I do have questions for people who do the the Spirit Football Jersey, did some of y'all get in bulks or did you go to a particular website to get them individually?  I really want to get one with my sorority and just a regular spirit jersey, also if you have a Spirit Jersey I would like to here your reviews about it.

Here are some websites you can check out if you want a individual Spirit Football Jersey:

Interview Look #1

Interview Look #2
When I'm on an interview, I know that the look is everything because it shows that you want this job and you are one stylish person at the same time. A look is everything, depends on what type of job your going for because you can look fabulous for a great job or look okay for a okay job. The looks I came up with above is simple yet cute outfit that you can wear either for a job interview or for work. These are simple outfits that can be for business attire and then it can be changed to an after work attire also.
Just know when your on an interview, remember to be confident, poise and determined to get the job. When you show that your edger to work for them, you have a better chance of getting the job. Also remember, know the history go the job that your working for, if you never been to their store or shop or read their magazine, give them that impression that you have shopped in their stores or read their magazine, they want people who knows what they sell or what type of stuff they have in their stores.
Just remember, in your mind, you got this job even if you didn't get it yet, just know that job is yours. Even if you don't get the job, just know that there's other opportunities coming your way. Don't give up, just keep on trying until you get the right one for you or just a decent job that will work for you. Think positive and positivity will flows through you.

College Girl Inc.Spotlight: Greek Cover Photos

I came across this page off on Facebook, and I was intrigued about the page and actually check out the page for myself. I requested an actual Facebook cover photo for my sorority, and I just got my cover photo for my sorority. I was very impressed by it and very pleased on how it ended up.

Greek Cover Photos was started in the Summer of 2013 by Nahal Poormasjedian, Brynn Zoellner and Zainab Aliyu. They started something different than the typical thing that you see for sorority. It's a very unique thing, why not rep your sorority as your cover page, in a creative way. The only thing you have to do is give them a shout out and spread the word about Greek Cover Photo.

Above is a cover photo that was made for my sorority, Sigma Rho Phi and I love it. If you guys, want to learn more about their page or even connect with them through their social media outlets: Facebook: Greek Cover Photos FB Twitter: Greek Cover Photos Twitter and their website: Greek Cover Photos

Check out the pages and SPREAD THE WORD about Greek Cover Photos and also check out their if they have your sorority, they even make custom made cover pages even if they don't have your sorority there. Best thing I found on Facebook.

Why I Love: Little Problems

(c)LittleProblems

Hey Everyone,
When I love a website or blog page, I'll let it be know to the world how much I love them. To start my mini series, I had to start with Little Problems. Started in May 2012, the creator of LP, Lauren, has made this twitter account into a growing empire. Little Problems focuses on Big and Little Relationships in Sorority Life. I have been a big fan of the twitter page and It also reminds me of the relationship that I have with my Big.
My Big, Priscilla and I.

Little Problems started as a twitter account, now they are now selling Koozies, Buttons and Decals. The twitter account for Little Problems is still booming having 13,000 followers, Little Problems isn't going nowhere. Come share your love for your Big Sister or Little Sisters on their twitter page, check out LP's website at Little Problems Page you will enjoy it. Their other links (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) are on their website, check it up and keep up to date with Little Problems.

College Girl Inc. - Sorority Life (NYC Edition)

(c) Google

Hey High School/College Girls,
Now I know around this time, school are sending out invites for recruitment for September, trying to find what sorority fits them, on YouTube or doing research on the different sororities at their school. As many of my fabulous readers know, I go to school in Brooklyn and I commute to school. At my school, we have a lot of local sororities and only two national sororities. Every school is very different when it comes to recruiting new members especially at some of the colleges in New York City. My sorority, Sigma Rho Phi Multicultural Sorority, Inc., was founded in City College of New York, part of the College University of New York (CUNY) and so is my school, Brooklyn College.
I was able to pledge for my sorority because of being part of the CUNY system, meaning I'm able to come into any of the 30 colleges & universities that are part of CUNY. Hopefully, I'm not confusing anyone...(lol). Now I know colleges outside of NYC is very different, to my opinion, I've watching YouTube videos on how the Rush process goes. From my personal views, how Rush is done is, they have Informational (Which is a brief synopsis of the sorority and what they do, etc.), after they do that they have Rush Events (either an outing, mixers with other sororities or fraternities, potlucks, etc.) With the local sorority you have to come to at least a certain amount of events (like 4 or 5 events plus 1 informational) and if you are what they are looking for, then you are giving a bid.
I know in some schools, they have either a formal rush or an informal rush, in my school, it's more of an informal rush than a formal. The only time you have to dress in business attire is during informational, every other event, you wear casual clothes. Everyone's rush is different from each other especially in New York City, different colleges have Rush a differently than other sororities.

Be on the look out for new posts from my newest topic, College Girl Inc. (The insider on girls in colleges and girls about to start college...and how to deal with college life from City Girl's perspective.)

Happy Summer,
