Guest Blog Post from A Greek Concept: How to Plan a Memorable, Budget-Friendly Trip with Your Sorority Sisters
I haven't done a guest post in a while and I was happy to be contact by Adrienne St. Laurent from A Greek Concept on how to plan a trip with your sorority sisters on a budget. Something that I'm actually planning with my sorority sisters soon and I can't wait but this can also work for you and your sisters also. If your also interested in doing a guest post, don't hesitate to contact me. Enjoy.
How to Plan a Memorable, Budget-Friendly Trip
with Your Sorority Sisters
Taking trips together is
one of the most fun ways to get to know your Sorority sisters super well!
Whether it’s just a few of you gallivanting around together, or it’s a whole
slew of girls from your sorority, trips build memories that help strengthen
bonds to a whole new level! Don’t go through college without jetting off
somewhere with your closest gal-pals – you’d regret it! So grab your bags
and get planning!
That being said, there is
a lot to consider in how to plan a
memorable, budget-friendly trip with your sorority sisters. Prepping for a
major extravaganza can cause tensions to rise and opinions to be voiced louder
than normal. You’ll need to make sure a couple of things are in order before
you plan the details – otherwise you’re asking for a major disaster.
Things to Consider
As you’re tossing around
the idea of where to go/what to do, make sure you consider the following:
Look
for Livingsocial deals / Groupons
Driving
instead of flying
Family-owned
vacation homes
If you wait ‘til the
last minute to discuss these options, it can cause some major kinks in
budgeting. When it comes to places close around you [like the Michigan Dunes if
you’re going to school in a surrounding state], add the costs of gas + rental
place + meals and weigh that against an all-inclusive cruise. Chances are you will
save by going someplace more local. If you choose to go somewhere more
domestic, toss out the question of whether you should drive or fly. Although
either creates memories, traveling in a car/s gives you ample opportunity to
get to know your sisters.
These sites offer
FANTASTIC trips for nearly half the cost of what the vacay would normally cost
[they even have places like Europe and the Caribbean!]. Your parents or
relatives might even be able to help out if they have a vacation home somewhere
exotic [or even in the mountains]!
Things to Plan
Cutting back on expenses
once you’ve decided where to go doesn’t have to squash your memory-making! The
simplest way to save some bucks is to stick
to the plan. It’s mega tempting to keep adding and expanding the holiday,
but it only adds cost to whatever fabulous ideas you already have.
Using your parents’ miles/points massively cuts costs! Maybe your dad/mom is a big
traveler and racks up points like nobody’s business – why ask for some of them
for your trip as a birthday or Christmas gift! You might be surprised by their
response.
We also suggest saving
on meals while you’re there by opting for a few nights of cooking in!
The plus of this = cooking
together helps you make memories you’ll be reminiscing for years to come.
Every night of the trip doesn’t need to be
wild – wild also adds up! So, kick back and relax instead with a Hunger Games
movie marathon or another of the classics.
You can rent these from
your local library at home and take with you to help cut back on additional day
costs from RedBox.
Happy vacation planning!

Spirit Football Jersey...How Can I Compare Thee??
(c)sororitydrunk.blogspot.com
When I'm in love with a particular article of clothing, I will let it be known from the rooftop, This is one of them. I been in L-O-V-E with the Spirit Football Jersey, since I saw one of my favorite YouTube Guru (Sarahbelle93x) showing one in her hauls. So let me give you a little mini history about the Spirit Football Jersey: Made in the USA becoming very popular with sororities, fraternities, colleges and sports teams. With its comfortable, the features the unmistakable bold back print in our famous puff font and unique drop-shoulder design.
I do have questions for people who do the the Spirit Football Jersey, did some of y'all get in bulks or did you go to a particular website to get them individually? I really want to get one with my sorority and just a regular spirit jersey, also if you have a Spirit Jersey I would like to here your reviews about it.
Here are some websites you can check out if you want a individual Spirit Football Jersey:

App Blitz: GoGreekPro Stickers by HappyMonkeyApps
Now if anyone doesn't know, I am in a sorority and I love anything Greek and cute. I actually came across this app on Instagram and I was giving the honor to tested out the app, basically give my reviews on the app. I just couldn't pass up that opportunity, so I was able to check out GoGreekPro.
Checking out GoGreekPro, I liked it off the first bat. As you know, Spring Rush is here and of course, my sorority have already started Rush and I came made a cute.
This what I made with GoGreekPro and I love it, it's cute and something different than what i'm use to seeing while I promote for Spring Rush. Of course, I have a some Pros and Cons about the App itself, nothing negative just giving my 100% opinion on the app.
Pros: GoGreekPro have different features that makes the app very unique and fun. Different colors for the letters and also different stickers that shows for College life and Greek Life. You can take plain Greek photo, and add these cute stickers to make to cute and fun.
Cons: The only problem I have with the stickers is I wish there was some more colors for the Greek letters, not only patterns but also but also solid colors. Also with the stickers, they should add more mascots to the stickers so more people can be able to put their org's mascot on their picture. I know that I want to be able to show my mascots (The Swan or Aphrodite) on my pictures but I'm unable to.
Other than that, I really enjoy the app and I already know some of my friends who actually got the app and they enjoy it also. I can't to see what the future holds for HappyMonkeyApps because I know it will be great. Love the App!!

College Girl Inc.Spotlight: Greek Cover Photos
I came across this page off on Facebook, and I was intrigued about the page and actually check out the page for myself. I requested an actual Facebook cover photo for my sorority, and I just got my cover photo for my sorority. I was very impressed by it and very pleased on how it ended up.
Greek Cover Photos was started in the Summer of 2013 by Nahal Poormasjedian, Brynn Zoellner and Zainab Aliyu. They started something different than the typical thing that you see for sorority. It's a very unique thing, why not rep your sorority as your cover page, in a creative way. The only thing you have to do is give them a shout out and spread the word about Greek Cover Photo.
Above is a cover photo that was made for my sorority, Sigma Rho Phi and I love it. If you guys, want to learn more about their page or even connect with them through their social media outlets: Facebook: Greek Cover Photos FB Twitter: Greek Cover Photos Twitter and their website: Greek Cover Photos
Check out the pages and SPREAD THE WORD about Greek Cover Photos and also check out their if they have your sorority, they even make custom made cover pages even if they don't have your sorority there. Best thing I found on Facebook.

Why I Love: Little Problems
(c)LittleProblems
Hey Everyone,
When I love a website or blog page, I'll let it be know to the world how much I love them. To start my mini series, I had to start with Little Problems. Started in May 2012, the creator of LP, Lauren, has made this twitter account into a growing empire. Little Problems focuses on Big and Little Relationships in Sorority Life. I have been a big fan of the twitter page and It also reminds me of the relationship that I have with my Big.
My Big, Priscilla and I.
Little Problems started as a twitter account, now they are now selling Koozies, Buttons and Decals. The twitter account for Little Problems is still booming having 13,000 followers, Little Problems isn't going nowhere. Come share your love for your Big Sister or Little Sisters on their twitter page, check out LP's website at Little Problems Page you will enjoy it. Their other links (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) are on their website, check it up and keep up to date with Little Problems.
